Jacksonville Jaguars’ Liam Coen talks 10-game win streak vs. Colts
The Jaguars haven’t lost to the Colts at home since the 2014 season. Still, Jaguars head coach Liam Coen explained the team isn’t concerned with that.
The Jacksonville Jaguars are struggling with a few injuries heading into their Week 14 matchup against the Indianapolis Colts.
Last week, the Jaguars were without several key players, including three starters: defensive end Travon Walker, defensive tackle Arik Armstead and right guard Patrick Mekari. The team was also without swing tackle Chuma Edoga, which forced the Jaguars to utilize all seven healthy offensive linemen on gameday last weekend.
Walker has missed the team’s last two games.
The Jaguars hope to get a few players on the healthy side of things this week, including safety Eric Murray, who is working his way back from injured reserve due to a neck injury sustained earlier in the season.
This week, the Jaguars have at least two more starters on their injury report than the week prior. Both receiver Parker Washington and starting left tackle Walker Little missed practice on Wednesday and were knocked out of last week’s game due to a hip and a concussion, respectively.
Safety Andrew Wingard was also absent from Wednesday’s Week 14 practice, but his injury was not known at the time media were allowed to spectate.
Sporting orange non-contact jerseys were linebacker Devin Lloyd, safety Antonio Johnson and Mekari. Mekari is in non-contact as he makes his way through the league’s concussion protocol.
