NASHVILLE, Tenn. — The vibe in Nashville is that over their final five games, the horrible Titans better not screw up their position for the No. 1 pick in the draft a second year in a row.
That, of course, runs directly counter to the players’ and coaches’ jobs, who are desperate to validate their work with a win.

“Winning is everything,” Dennard Wilson said. “The reason you play games, you play cards, you play Uno, whatever it is, it’s all about winning. There is no moral victory or having a tie or coming in second. We play a game, we do this, we come in this building every day to win.”
I am a fan of the NFL product, but not of any team. Few things are better than a tense NFL football game.
