Wide receivers to start in Week 14
Jaylen Waddle at New York Jets
The Jets largely shut down Atlanta’s wide receivers in Week 13, but Waddle is a different sort of challenge. He’ll likely need to reach the end zone to put up big numbers, but with six touchdowns already this season, that could easily happen.
Emeka Egbuka vs. New Orleans Saints
Egbuka took a backseat to Chris Godwin, at least in terms of receiving yards, in Tampa Bay’s win against Arizona, and he’s cooled off of late. It’s in the Bucs’ best interest to get him going, though, and he still commands about nine targets a game.
Christian Watson vs. Chicago Bears
With two top-12 finishes in the last three weeks, Watson has found his stride and looks like the clear No. 1 option for Jordan Love. He was eating good on Thanksgiving, too, with 10 targets and a rushing attempt. Plug him in for this rivalry game.
Waiver start — Isaac Teslaa vs. Dallas Cowboys
The most recent reports indicate Amon-Ra St. Brown will be a game-time decision for Detroit. If he’s unable to suit up on a short week, Teslaa could be in for a big day with an elevated role. Snag him and keep an eye out for the news on Thursday night.
Falcons spotlight — Drake London vs. Seattle Seahawks
There seemed to be some positive news regarding London’s recovery from his knee injury. Instead of getting the “week to week” label from head coach Raheem Morris, as had been the case for two weeks, London was deemed “day to day.” If he’s back, he could see a lot of work in a potential shootout.
