If you experienced some déjà vu reading the headline for this post, it’s because it’s the same one we used for the past two years of this annual New York Giants fan survey.

Well, almost.

The headline is missing one key name, that of former Giants coach Brian Daboll. For the past two years, we’ve asked if you think the tandem of Daboll and general manager Joe Schoen should return to lead this franchise into the future. Now, they are no longer a tandem.

Daboll was fired in November, and it’s possible Schoen could soon meet a similar fate. However, ownership has decided to spare him, and he remains the Giants’ GM, hoping the team he built can halt its six-game losing streak and add a few wins in their final four games to improve upon their current dreadful 2-11 record.

In his recent bye week news conference, Schoen sounded confident he’d still be overseeing the Giants franchise in 2026. Though he also made it clear he has not received any outright assurances from ownership.

“They will evaluate the entire football operation at the end of the season, as they should, and then we’ll go from there,” Schoen said.

Ownership will get the final say, but your voices matter to us, as we want to know what you’re thinking and how you’re feeling — and not just about the GM, but about the entire franchise and its future. Before you cast your votes in our annual survey, we would like to express our gratitude in advance for your participation. We appreciate all of you staying engaged with The Athletic amid another frustrating Giants season. And with that, here’s the survey:
