GLENDALE – With only five games left in the 2025 season, Arizona Cardinals tight end Trey McBride seems like the runaway favorite to be on the 1st-team All-Pro team. Last year, the 26-year-old was a bridesmaids, receiving a few votes for the All-Pro teams, but his production this year has earned him the right to be the bride. His 88 catches for 879 receiving yards and eight touchdowns lead all tight ends in that category. If he continues his current pace, McBride could break the single-season record for most catches by a tight end, set by former Cardinals tight end Zach Ertz in 2018 with 116.

McBride’s number become even more impressive with all the “BS” that he has to deal with on the field, according to his quarterback Jacoby Brissett.

Brissett on how special McBride has been in 2025:
Brissett is often left speechless by the plays his tight end makes on the field. McBride plays like a winner, and he should be rewarded as such by making an All-Pro team. If he is selected for the 1st-team All-Pro roster, McBride will be the 48th Cardinals player to earn the honor, with the last one being safety Budda Baker in 2020. However, McBride would be the first offensive Arizona player to make the team since running back David Johnson in 2016.

No other Cardinals tight end in franchise history has ever made an All-Pro team and McBride has more than earn the honor. This past offseason, the Pro-Bowler signed a four-year contract extension that makes him the second highest paid tight end in the NFL, which still might make him underpaid because of his monster stats.
