HOUSTON – The Texans are in the thick of the AFC playoff hunt.
They’re 7-5 and have climbed into contention after a rocky, 0-3 start to the season.
The Texans, while currently eighth in the playoff standings, are competing for their third consecutive division title in a tight AFC South race with the Indianapolis Colts and the Jacksonville Jaguars.
They have a painful past at Arrowhead Stadium, the site of the Texans’ high-profile Sunday night game against the Kansas City Chiefs. Their last win over the Chiefs was in 2019. The Texans are on a five-game losing streak to the Chiefs, including two playoff losses during that span.
Now, the Texans head back to Kansas City for another game against star quarterback Patrick Mahomes. The Texans and their top-ranked defense is one of the top matchups.
