The New York Giants will be on their open date on Sunday, but that doesn’t mean quarterback Jameis Winston won’t be working. FOX Sports announced on Friday the former Hueytown High School star will appear on the network’s “FOX NFL Kickoff” and other NFL shows on Sunday as an analyst.

The Giants’ other backup quarterback, Russell Wilson, also will be working as a TV analyst on Sunday, with CBS announcing the 10-time Pro Bowler will appear on its “NFL Today” and associated shows during the network’s coverage.

Wilson started New York’s first three games of the season before first-round rookie Jaxson Dart replaced him in the lineup. Dart went out with a concussion after starting seven games, and Winston stepped in to handle the QB duties for two games until Dart returned in Monday night’s 33-15 loss to the New England Patriots.

The Giants have a 2-11 record this season.

Winston’s Sunday work will be a reunion with FOX. The network used the 2013 Heisman Trophy winner in its coverage of Super Bowl Opening Night in February.
