The Seattle Seahawks are getting healthy at the right time. Ahead of their Week 14 road game against the Atlanta Falcons, the Seahawks revealed their gametime designations for Sunday. Seattle has only ruled two players OUT for the NFC showdown.
Wide receiver Dareke Young and defensive tackle Rylie Mills. That’s it.
Like… for the whole list. There are no other players listed as DOUBTFUL or even QUESTIONABLE. That includes Anthony Bradford, who was downgraded from a full participant to a limited participant at Thursday’s practice. This also includes safety Julian Love and defensive tackle Jarran Reed, who appear to be on track to make their triumphant return to the field.
Should Love and Reed be ready to go, corresponding roster transactions will need to take place in order to get them on the active 53-man roster.
This is tremendous news for Seattle. Reinforcements for their stout defense are on the way, and the struggling offense won’t lose any pieces. Yes, I have been just as critical of Anthony Bradford as anyone. I share your frustrations, dear reader. But I also know he’s starting for a reason… the reason being the Seahawks clearly feel he is (somehow) their best option. I don’t want to know what an offensive line featuring someone who couldn’t somehow beat out Anthony Bradford would look like.
