Adams is expected to play this weekend but he’s dealing with a hamstring injury at the moment
Davante Adams was listed on the injury report once again this week, dealing with a hamstring that isn’t quite feeling 100% healthy. It’s not the first time this season that he’s had a bad hamstring but he has yet to miss a single game all year for the Los Angeles Rams.
Fortunately, Adams doesn’t carry an injury designation heading into Sunday’s game after being a full participant in practice on Friday. He talked about his hamstring injury on Thursday and described how it’s feeling, saying it’s different than his last one.
“No, it’s different. It’s a little different spot, but it’s feeling good though,” he said. “I’m feeling much better than what I anticipated and honestly just wanted to be smart about it. I felt it early in the game last week and was able to get through the game just fine. I just want to manage it. We have a turtle race coming up here so we just have to make sure we are available.”
Adams leads the NFL with 14 touchdown catches this season, 11 of which have come in the last six games alone. He’s scored in six straight and nine of 12 games this season, routinely finding the end zone when the Rams get near the goal line.
He’s someone they need healthy for the home stretch of the season, which is why the Rams are playing it safe and cautious with their star receiver in practice each week.
