CLEVELAND BROWNS (-3.5) over Tennessee Titans
I missed on the Browns last week against the 49ers, but they’re getting a much easier matchup this Sunday.Â
Cleveland kept it close with San Francisco until a couple of second-half gaffes — a muffed punt and a failed fourth-down attempt deep in their own territory — let the 49ers run away with the game. Without those two mistakes, we could be talking about a much different final score.Â
The same can’t be said for the Titans, who took another step back after a seemingly decent showing a week prior, losing 25-3 to the Jaguars.
The Browns’ defense remains one of the scariest in the NFL. Tennessee’s offense is still, by far, the worst in the league. Bet on the mismatch with this tight spread.Â

GREEN BAY PACKERS (-6.5) over Chicago Bears
Let’s talk about turnovers. The Bears are shockingly 9-3, which puts them in a three-way tie for the best record in the NFC heading into Week 14.Â
Chicago fans don’t want to hear it, but the Bears’ surprising run has as much to do with their wild turnover margin as anything. The Bears, with an NFL-leading 26 turnovers, are riding a plus-1.4 takeaway margin per game, which would make them just the second team in the past decade to reach such a number over a full season.Â
Betting on the NFL?
I’m betting this is the week that finally takes a turn. The Packers have been the most careful team in the league with the ball, with a league-low seven giveaways.
After an impressive win over the Lions on Thanksgiving Day and an extra day of rest over the Bears, who played the following day, expect the Packers to show they’re the better team.Â
LAST WEEK: 0-2. Browns (L), Titans (L).
SEASON: 12-14.
