Some of y’all turning on Jayden…
Maybe it’s just me… but so much going on with this team that’s bigger than him.
At the very least he deserves next season without judgement. #RaiseHail

Is this rock bottom? That’s what many Washington Commanders‘ fans are asking after Sunday’s 31-0 loss to the Minnesota Vikings. Both teams entered Sunday’s game on losing streaks. And Washington, coming off a gutsy performance last week where it almost upset the AFC’s top team, the Denver Broncos, had quarterback Jayden Daniels back for Week 14.
The Commanders had an impressive first drive, but were unable to put the ball into the end zone. Minnesota would proceed to drive 98 yards on 19 plays in 12 minutes to take a 14-0 lead. The rest was history. Sadly, when Daniels was intercepted in the third quarter, he attempted to chase down Vikings linebacker Andrew Van Ginkel, but a Minnesota defender knocked him to the ground, reinjuring his left non-throwing elbow. Shortly thereafter, veteran tight end Zach Ertz suffered a gruesome knee injury that head coach Dan Quinn said the team believes is a torn ACL.
It was that type of day for Washington. To the surprise of no one, fans are fed up. Most fans are upset with GM Adam Peters, head coach Dan Quinn, the entire defense and Jayden Daniels. The truth is, there’s enough blame to go around for this debacle.
Let’s look at some of those fan reactions, courtesy of X.
Jayden Daniels
A healthy Jayden is 100000% the guy. He’s extremely good at QB. Injuries happen around the league. Last year we all saw what JD5 is capable of. Don’t forget how good he is because this season has been a disaster. https://t.co/KiXIdqHlSG

Jayden hurt every time he gets touched
Kliff regression
Defense worst we’ve ever seen
DQ not on the hot seat
Deebo is fat
Tunsil shaves his eye lashes
Peters still my gm

For the folks saying fire DQ, that won’t happen. AP is the one that picked him.

Post game thoughts…
1 (and most important): DO NOT give up on Jayden. It’s been a frustrating season but hang in there.
2: Take this roster and COMPLETELY gut it! No more aging vets!
3: Need to spend money on young, impact players!
4: AP and Quinn need to look in the mirror

This fanbase is not used to a true GM. We’re used to a pseudo-coach/GM. Adam Peters is the General Manager of the Washington Commanders. It’s his time now. He must fix this.

Kliff Kingsbury can go. Joe Whitt can go. Adam Peters and Dan Quinn you have one more season.#RaiseHail
— Wam (@wamupnxt) December 7, 2025Dan Quinn
DQ your team is and was always lost this season! Blow this team up in the offseason! Total reboot!
— JukemPNukem (@JukemPNukem) December 7, 2025
The “we lost but were not lost anymore” quote gonna be tough for DQ to explain after this performance. Cant lose 7 in a row, kinda celebrate the 7th loss, and then come drop the 8th like this.
— JP Finlay (@JPFinlayNBCS) December 7, 2025
This whole season and the way they have handled the Terry McLaurin contract negotiations and all of Jayden Daniels injuries and rushing him back when he’s still not himself should make DQ and AP seat a little warm. To go from the NFC title game to a top 5 pick is disgraceful!
— Zac (@DCzWall) December 7, 2025
This team is done. DQ and Peter’s have to go.
No excuses for 8 straight losses
— Washington Redskins Fanbase (@FanRedskins21) December 7, 2025
I’m good on the rest of the season. I’ve seen enough. Nothing to be gained from these last couple of games other than getting some reps for what few young players are on the roster. But DQ is so stupid he’ll waste them playing the same guys who haven’t been performing.

Chris Rodriguez gains 32 yards on 4 rushes. Yet, when the Commanders get down to the one-yard line, Kliff Kingsbury chooses three consecutive passes and gets no points after a failed 4th and Goal

What happened to the run game at the 1 yard line? Kliff Cliff!
— JukemPNukem (@JukemPNukem) December 7, 2025
Thank you, Kliff Kingsbury, for throwing 3 straight times from the 1.

Just slightly less embarrassing than the Detroit loss but more embarrassing than the Seattle and Dallas losses but close. Horrendous season. Fire everybody!
— Kevin Sheehan (@kevinsheehanDC) December 7, 2025
Dan Quinn isn’t going anywhere, and I’m not suggesting he should. But man, an 8 game losing streak in today’s NFL is really really really bad, regardless of the circumstances.
— Eric Sully (@CommandersRealm) December 7, 2025
Very disturbing that Washington routinely has gotten embarrassed. Yes, the injuries. But only true instance of the team “rising up” was the OT loss to Denver. Overwhelming majority of the losses have been humiliations. Does not speak well for the front office, coaches or players.
— Al Galdi (@AlGaldi) December 7, 2025
This has to be the lowest point as a Washington fan, and I don’t mean that as a hyperbole. It’s frustrating beyond comprehension.
