Right from the opening kickoff, the Saints embarrassed the Bucks special teams with *** 54 yard return to the Bucks 45 yard line. That ultimately sets up *** 3 yard TD by Devin Neil. Saints up 7-0. Bucks responded on their opening drive, highlighted by dependable Chris Godwin’s 21 yard gain on *** crossing pattern as Mayfield rolls to his right. And that was followed by *** short dumb pass to Bucky Irving, who takes it to the house and cashes *** check on *** 24 yard TD, all tied at 7. Now in the 2nd quarter, big interception from Zion McCollum on the New Orleans 40 yard line. Bucks had to settle for *** 41 yard field goal. Bucks 10, Saints 7 midway through the 2nd quarter. Then to the 3rd quarter, *** big interception on Mayfield on the Tampa Bay 47 yard line, and that sets. Rookie quarterback Tyler Shuck on *** keeper for *** 34 yard TD to the house. Saints 14, Bucks 10. Bucks responding cap off *** 65 yard drive with *** Shaun Tucker, 1 yard TD off right. In the fourth quarter, the Bucks were stopped on *** 4th and short, giving the Saints great field position, and that allows Tyler Shuck to wrap up *** 55 yard drive as he scrambles to take it in for *** 13 yard run. And the Bucks had opportunities in the fourth and could only manage *** field goal, and that included *** wide open Ibuka in the end zone. He couldn’t hold on. Final score, New Orleans 24, Bucks 24, *** miserable loss. Our 76 Bucks hosts the 49 Atlanta Falcons this Thursday night on ESPN on the national stage in another must-win game. It’s *** division game. They always play us tough. I said that all week. Uh, we don’t look at records. We played division games, they know us and we know them. Gave it away or didn’t make the plays to, uh, to win it. Um, there’s too many mistakes and conditions aren’t an excuse because they had to play them too. The Saints stunned Tampa Bay early with a long return and a quick score, but the Bucs punched right back behind Chris Godwin and a 24-yard catch and followed by a catch and run TD by Bucky Irving. Tampa Bay grabbed a 10–7 lead off a Zyon McCullum interception that set up FG, but momentum swung when miscommunication led to a third-quarter pick, setting up Saints rookie QB Tyler Shough for one of his two rushing touchdowns.The Bucs missed chances in the fourth quarter proved costly, including a dropped touchdown that could’ve changed everything.Final score: Saints 24, Bucs 20.Now at 7–6, Tampa Bay returns home for a huge Thursday night showdown on ESPN against the 4–9 Falcons, another must-win under the national spotlight.
