Jason Kelce had one thing to say after the Philadelphia Eagles’ crushing loss to the Los Angeles Chargers on Monday Night Football.

After the game on Monday, Dec. 8, the 38-year-old former Eagles center took to X with a simple message: “Fml.”

The three letters stand for “f— my life.”

During the broadcast, ESPN lead play-by-play announcer Joe Buck suggested the Eagles call their former star center out of retirement to help them finish the season.

“Maybe the Eagles, with these banged-up interior offensive linemen, could call on our friend, old 38-year-old Jason Kelce,” he said.

Former Dallas Cowboys quarterback Troy Aikman agreed, adding, “I would be surprised if they haven’t already at some point this year, even last year.”

“I’d be knocking on his door every week to try to get him to come back. He can still do it,” said Aikman, 59.

Buck then noted that the Eagles “brought Brandon Graham back, and he’s 37.”

Most fans didn’t think Kelce returning would be a good idea, with some pointing out that he’s lost a significant amount of weight since retiring in March 2024.

The Eagles entered the NFL season as the reigning Super Bowl champs, leaving fans with high expectations for a potential return to the championship game. They’re now 8-5 on the season, which includes losses to the 6-6-1 Dallas Cowboys and the 2-11 New York Giants.

Head coach Nick Sirianni told reporters after the game, “We have won a lot of football games. Right now, we’ve lost three in a row,” according to USA Today.

“I’m confident in the coaches that we have, the players that we have, the owner that we have, the front office that we have,” he said. “We’re built to overcome, and we know how to do that.”

Quarterback Jalen Hurts said he needs to “find ways to lead our team to victories.”

“That’s not something that’s foreign to us,” Hurts, 27, said. “We are just not able to do it at the moment. That starts with me and how I play, how I lead and how I go out there and do my job. When I look at it at any point, it’s about how I respond to a test. And what level of resilience and resolve I have to push forward and figure things out.”
