The Tennessee Titans 2025 Mr. Football award winners were announced on Dec. 9, at Nissan Stadium.

Two quarterbacks who were heavy favorites to claim Mr. Football awards did just that as Nashville Christian star and Vanderbilt signee, Jared Curtis, captured the award for the second straight year in Division II-A. In Class 3A, Graham Simpson, of Westview, took home the trophy after guiding his team to the program’s first state championship win since 2021.

A pair of Knoxville area QBs also took home Mr. Football, led by Sevier County’s Cooper Newman who helped the Smoky Bears reach in the 5A title game for a second straight year. He threw for 33 touchdowns during the regular season and only four interceptions. Greeneville’s Caden Baugh was named Mr. Football in 4A.

BGA’s Kaedyn Marable led Middle Tennessee with 41 regular-season touchdowns and took home Mr. Football in DII-AA after helping the Wildcats claim its first state championship in 22 years last Thursday, Dec. 4 in Chattanooga.

Southwind’s Kelvin Perkins captured his second Mr. Football award. He won two years ago and captured the 2025 award in Class 6A.

But the awards ceremony wasn’t completely dominated by offensive players. East Robertson’s Zach Groves took home the trophy in Class 2A. The Tennessee football signee and edge rusher had 64 tackles, 14 for a loss with six sacks, two forced fumbles and a fumble recovery.

Baylor’s David Gabriel Georges, the No. 2 running back in the country according to the 247Sports Composite, won the DII-AAA award for the second straight year.

The winners were announced during a luncheon at Nissan Stadium. A statewide panel of high school sports writers vote for the winners based on their TSSAA regular season performance. What athletes do during the TSSAA football playoffs are not considered. Sports writers and Tennessee high school head coaches nominated the finalists.
