Harbor Beach’s Troy Schelke named Detroit Lions High School Football Coach of the Year

HARBOR BEACH, Mich. (WNEM) – The Detroit Lions announced that Harbor Beach’s Troy Schelke is their 2025 High School Coach of the Year.

Schelke’s Pirates went 14-0 this season and capped off the year defeating Hudson 31-20 to win the Division 8 State Championship.

It’s Harbor Beach’s 2nd ever State Title in program history.
