Here is the latest practice status update on Jaguars’ WR Parker Washington.

Jacksonville Jaguars’ wide receiver Parker Washington was practicing on Wednesday as the team prepares for their Week 15 matchup with the New York Jets.

Washington did not play this past Sunday against the Indianapolis Colts after sustaining a hip injury the week prior in Tennessee.

After not practicing on Wednesday of last week and then being limited on Thursday and Friday, Washington was originally questionable before being ruled out before kickoff.

“No, like you guys saw, he was out there a little bit throughout the week,” Liam Coen said via Jaguars on SI on Monday.

“It was just a matter of Friday, Saturday wasn’t quite ready to go, so I think we’ll get a better beat on it on Wednesday when we get out there a little bit.”

Without Washington, Tim Patrick handled the bulk of the WR3 snaps on offense, while Austin Trammell handled punt return duties.

As the season has progressed, Washington’s role on offense has increased. On the year, he’s caught 36-of-57 passes for 447 yards with three touchdowns.

Of his 36 receptions, 23 have gone for a first down. Washington has two punt returns for touchdowns as well.

The Jaguars official Week 15 Wednesday injury report will be released this afternoon, at which point we will see if Washington was a limited or full participant.
