The Washington Commanders will be in a unique position in 2025. They will be favored in most of their 17 games next season.
The NFL revealed the 2025 schedule on Wednesday, and it is a difficult slate for the Commanders. However, these aren’t the same old Commanders. After winning only four games in 2023, owner Josh Harris started fresh, hiring new GM Adam Peters, followed by head coach Dan Quinn.
The most transformative move came in April 2024, when the Commanders selected quarterback Jayden Daniels with the second overall pick of the 2024 NFL draft. Daniels led Washington to 12 wins and an appearance in the NFC championship game, the franchise’s best season in 33 years.
The Commanders begin the season with an NFC East matchup with the New York Giants and finish the year with four consecutive divisional games. In between, Washington will be one of the NFL’s featured teams in prime time and standalone games (International, Christmas, etc.).
So, how do the oddsmakers view the Commanders? DraftKings Sportsbook has the opening odds for all 17 games next season. It’s important to note that these will change, but they give you an idea of how Washington is currently viewed compared to other teams.
