The NFL and Los Angeles Rams announced on Wednesday that Rams wide receiver Puka Nacua has been named the NFC Offensive Player of the Week for Week 14, thanks to his showing against the Arizona Cardinals.
Nacua logged seven catches for 167 yards and two touchdowns in the Rams’ 45-17 win over the Cardinals on Sunday, closing out the game with the first multi-receiving touchdown game of his career. He was also just three receiving yards shy of matching his single-game career high, according to NFL research.
The honor marks the second time Nacua has been named NFC Offensive Player of the Week this season. He also won the honor for his Week 4 showing against the Indianapolis Colts, in which he totaled 13 catches on 15 targets for 170 yards and a touchdown.

Through 12 games this season, Nacua is tied for the NFL lead in receptions (93), he ranks second in receiving yards (1,186), fifth in targets (118), and tied for 11th in touchdowns (six).
Following L.A.’s win over the Cardinals, quarterback Matthew Stafford praised his team, especially highlighting their discipline on the field.
“I thought we really disciplined how we approached the game,” he said. “They wanted to run small people out there and we were in 13 (personnel) and it was just, ‘Hey, let’s keep running the rock.’ And we can call all those runs, but if we don’t make them work, then they have the upper hand. So a ton of credit to our guys up front, our tight ends, our backs, receivers blocking.”
