The New York Giants took the field on Wednesday for their first of three practices ahead of a Week 15 game against the Washington Commanders at MetLife Stadium in East Rutherford, New Jersey, this Sunday at 4:25 p.m. EST.
Beforehand, interim head coach Mike Kafka updated the status of several injured players, including linebacker Darius Muasau and cornerback Art Green. Both have had their 21-day practice windows opened.
“We opened up the window for Art Green and Darius Muasau, too. Just a little update on that for you,” Kafka said on Tuesday.
In addition, Kafka also announced that the 21-day practice window was opened for offensive lineman Joshua Ezeudu and wide receiver Beaux Collins.
Meanwhile, the interim head coach revealed that linebacker Kayvon Thibodeaux remains sidelined due to a shoulder injury. Guard Greg Van Roten and punter Jamie Gillan were also held out on Wednesday.
“He’s working. He’s working. He looks good. I saw him in the hallway today. But he’s working. Just not ready yet,” Kafka said of Thibodeaux.
