The Seattle Seahawks’ first injury report of the week heading into their home game against the Indianapolis Colts is in much better shape than their opponents can say.

Date and time for Seahawks’ Week 17 game at Carolina announced

Just one player was listed as not participating in Seattle’s practice on Wednesday: rookie tight end Elijah Arroyo, who suffered a knee injury in last Sunday’s win in Atlanta.

The Colts’ issues, meanwhile, are well known at this point. They lost starting quarterback Daniel Jones to a torn Achilles last weekend, and backup Riley Leonard has a banged-up knee after filling in for Jones in the game. That led Indianapolis to bring 44-year-old grandfather Philip Rivers out of the retirement he’s been in since 2020, signing him to the practice squad. And it sounds like Rivers may be Indy’s choice to start Sunday in Seattle, too.

That being said, Leonard was a full participant for the Colts in practice Wednesday.

Indianapolis had three players who did not participate: tackle Braden Smith (concussion/neck), cornerback Ahmad Gardner (calf) and wide receiver Anthony Gould (foot).

The Seahawks had 10 players who were listed as limited in practice Wednesday, half of which were resting, and four more who were full participants.
