I’m not ready to declare the Chiefs totally dead yet. Especially not against a west coast team playing a noon kickoff.

While I do expect the Chiefs to play better with their whole season on the line, the Chargers should not be underdogs in this game. The points are too good to pass up.

Nothing about how the Chiefs are playing gives me confidence they can cover any spread. But I do fear a Chargers letdown on the short week.

The Chargers offensive line is banged up and protecting Justin Herbert has been a problem. That said, the Chiefs might be past the point of no return, and they have struggled against the better defenses in the NFL. L.A. has just that.
