History is on the Denver Broncos‘ side going into Sunday’s showdown with the Green Bay Packers.

Denver leads the all-time series against Green Bay 8-7-1, including a 7-1 record at home. The Broncos will host the Packers at Empower Field at Mile High in Week 15, and the home team is 13-1-1 in the all-time series.

Denver was also the designated “home” team when the teams faced off in Super Bowl XXXII following the 1997 season. The Broncos ended up winning that game 31-24 to secure the first championship in franchise history. Their most recent meeting was a 19-17 Denver win at home in 2023.

Of course, past results do not guarantee future success, and oddsmakers have the Packers (9-3-1) listed as road favorites against the Broncos (11-2) going into Week 15.

“I don’t really care,” Denver quarterback Bo Nix said of being a home underdog. “My mom thinks we’ll win, so that’s all that matters.”

Sunday’s game will be regionally televised on CBS (view the TV broadcast map). History — and Nix’s mom — are on the Broncos’ side.
