Each team may be down a starting wide receiver Sunday when the Ravens face the Bengals in Cincinnati.
Ravens wide receiver Rashod Bateman is not practicing Friday after being added to the injury report Thursday as a limited participant with an ankle injury.
“It’s just a nagging thing. It’s an ankle sprain,” Head Coach John Harbaugh said Friday. “You fight through it, you fight through it, and you can annoy it, I guess is the best way to say it.”
Tight end Mark Andrews, who also popped up on Thursday’s report with a glute injury, was back on the field Friday.
Left tackle Ronnie Stanley is not practicing, but he has been getting some Fridays off for rest in recent weeks.
For the Bengals, star wide receiver Tee Higgins will be ruled out due to a concussion, per Head Coach Zac Taylor. Higgins practiced on a limited basis two days this week, but sat out Friday.
Higgins, who had 92 receiving yards and two touchdowns last week in Buffalo, also didn’t play against the Ravens two weeks ago because of a concussion. He’s played just two games against the Ravens in the past three regular seasons.
First-round rookie pass rusher Shemar Stewart (knee) is doubtful to play. Star defensive end Trey Hendrickson is out for the remainder of the season.
