After the Los Angeles Chargers (9-4) won on Monday, the Denver Broncos (11-2) can’t clinch a division title this weekend, but they could punch their ticket to the playoffs.
There are six scenarios that would see the Broncos clinch a postseason berth in Week 15. The first and simplest path would be to beat the Green Bay Packers at home on Sunday. With a win, Denver would improve to 12-2, ensuring that they would reach the playoffs at minimum as a Wild Card seed, even if they ended up 12-5.
Four other scenarios are unlikely as they involve ties, and the fifth scenario would require specific results from two other clubs. Take a look, courtesy of the NFL’s communications team:
