The New York Giants (2-11) will take on the Washington Commanders (3-10) on Sunday afternoon at MetLife Stadium in their 14th game of the 2025 regular season.
Opening the week, the Giants were listed as 1.5-point home favorites, but that line has shifted slightly with New York now at -2.5 as of this writing.
How does the Giants Wire staff see this Week 15 battle shaking out? Here’s a look at our picks and score predictions.
Dan Benton: Commanders 23, Giants 21
Here we are again… The Giants and Commanders are battling for the top of the draft order. It’s like deja vu, isn’t it? Who wants to win? Should they both strive to lose? Luckily (perhaps unluckily?) for Washington, they are starting a backup quarterback, which the Giants notoriously struggle against. There’s no reason to believe that will change on Sunday, especially against Washington’s stout rushing attack and with depleted reserves. Ultimately, the Commanders score the victory and lose in the process, while the Giants are defeated and actually win in the process. The NFL is wild sometimes.
John Fennelly: Giants 27, Commanders 17
Washington was shut out and carved up by a struggling Minnesota team last week, and they might have trouble getting motivated for this one, too. The Giants are putting their best foot forward and plan on winning out the rest of the season.
Tyler Henry: Commanders 28, Giants 27
The Giants have an easier schedule coming up at the tail end of the season, starting Sunday against Washington. The Giants have shown no signs of being able to stop the run, and I think the Commanders will take advantage of that. I think the game will be close, but I feel like the Giants’ sloppy special teams play will have an effect on the game once again, just as it has throughout the season.
Serena Burks: Giants 24, Commanders 21
This is a battle for the bottom of the NFC East. The Commanders will be without Jayden Daniels once again, and their defense is still on the struggle bus. The Giants have faced plenty of their own adversity this season, but they seem to be in a better spot than the Commanders this week. Which is weird because the Giants have two wins to Washington’s three wins. That’s partly because the Giants are at home, but also because Daniels isn’t playing. It’s going to be an interesting game to watch, and truly could go either direction. I will give the Giants the nod at home, though
