The upstart Patriots are surging in a season highlighted by explosive growth from second-year quarterback Drake Maye into a leader and franchise player. The Pats are tied with the Denver Broncos for top record in the AFC at 11-2, and they own the NFL’s longest win streak at nine games. The best victory over that stretch came Week 5 in Buffalo over these Bills (23-20), which was followed by seven wins in a row, where six came over teams with losing records. A Week 15 rematch with the Bills is a good opportunity to continue New England’s claim as the new AFC North kings and potential challengers for the No. 1 seed in the AFC Playoffs.

The Bills have experienced a couple rough patches this season, the first of which began with their 23-20 loss to New England in Week 5 and was followed by an ugly 24-14 road loss to the Atlanta Falcons. Another inexplicable road loss to the Miami Dolphins (30-13) in Week 10 dished out another big hit to the Bills’ championship reputation, but superhuman efforts by Allen in wins over the Pittsburgh Steelers (26-7) and Joe Burrow-led Cincinnati Bengals (39-34) helped restore faith and confidence in the Bills’ ability to get over the top and win the franchise’s first Super Bowl after losing consecutively in their previous four appearances. Allen completed 22 of 28 passes for 251 yards and 251 touchdowns while compiling a season-best 139.7 passer rating in last week’s win over the Bengals.
