What might the Jaguars’ lack of roster moves mean for Sunday’s game against the Jets?

The Jacksonville Jaguars did not make any roster moves on Saturday. So what might this mean for Parker Washington’s availability?

Saturdays are when teams elevate up to two players from the practice squad to the game day roster. The Jaguars, however, did not announce any such moves.

A week ago, one of the players they elevated was wide receiver Austin Trammell. This move came with Washington questionable with a hip injury. He ultimately ended up not playing, while Trammell handled punt return duties.

So one could read into the lack of moves this week as a sign that Washington could be available against the New York Jets.

Washington is again questionable, but after being limited on Wednesday and Thursday, he was a full participant in Friday’s practice.

There is no guarantee that this is how things play out, but it is worth noting because if Washington can’t go, that leaves the Jaguars with only four receivers available on game day.

On the year, Washington has caught 36-of-57 passes for 447 yards with three touchdowns. Of his 36 receptions, 23 have gone for a first down. Washington has two punt returns for touchdowns as well.
