Will Houston Texans running back Woody Marks suit up when they take on the Arizona Cardinals on Sunday at NRG Stadium?

According to reports, Marks returned to practice at full speed on Friday and is planning to play despite dealing with a knee injury. Last week, Marks totaled a season-high 28 carries for 68 yards in Houston’s win over the Kansas City Chiefs on Sunday Night Football.

Should Marks experience any pain with his knee, the Texans could turn toward their backups to serve as a the backbone in what should set the tone for Houston against a three-win Cardinals roster. The status of Nick Chubb remains a mystery entering Sunday following his limitations in practice this past week.

Last Sunday, Chubb left during the second quarter with a rib injury and did not return. The Texans turned to Dare Ogunbowale as the secondary back for the rest of the evening, and he scored the game-winning touchdown on a 6-yard score in the fourth quarter.

A rookie out of USC, Marks has started nine games for the Texans and has seen action in all 13. He’s totaled 554 rushing yards off 160 carries, along with 196 off 20 receptions, while scoring five total touchdowns.

Kickoff is scheduled for Noon CT. With a win, the Texans would be a 99 percent favorite to make the AFC playoffs.
