The Baltimore Ravens have been a perennial contender in the AFC under John Harbaugh. They entered the 2025-26 season with a talented roster and legitimate Super Bowl aspirations yet again. However, those dreams could be fading in what was considered a championship-or-bust campaign.
John Harbaugh’s squad enters Week 15 with a 6-7 record, placing Baltimore second in a tightly contested AFC North race. Though this season has been a massive disappointment for the Ravens, they still have something to play for: a chance to clinch a third straight division title and punch their ticket to the playoffs.
What Are the Baltimore Ravens’ Chances of Making the Playoffs?
It’s been a roller-coaster season for the Ravens. Led by two-time MVP Lamar Jackson, Baltimore was a preseason favorite to represent the AFC in Super Bowl LX. A slow start quickly allowed room for doubt to creep in.
The Ravens faced a challenging schedule to start the year, featuring games against the Bills, Chiefs, Lions, Rams, and Texans. Baltimore limped into a Week 7 bye with a shocking 1-5 record, its only win coming against the lowly Cleveland Browns.
The injury bug hit the Ravens’ locker room hard early in the year, with setbacks to several key players, including Jackson, Nnamdi Madubuike, and Ar’Darius Washington, who tore his Achilles tendon in the offseason.
With fans getting restless and anxious about a potentially lost season, the Ravens appeared to turn a corner, reeling off five straight wins after the bye. Improving to 6-5 offered hope that Baltimore could turn its season around. Then it suffered back-to-back crushing defeats to the Cincinnati Bengals and Pittsburgh Steelers in Weeks 13 and 14.
The Ravens entered Week 14 atop the AFC North, but the loss knocked them out of the current playoff picture. That’s how tight this division is right now. Every game matters, and a third consecutive loss could be back-breaking.
According to PFSN’s NFL Playoff Predictor, the Ravens had a 41.1% chance of reaching the postseason entering Week 14. After the loss to Pittsburgh, those odds dropped to 22.2%. They also have a 22.2% chance of winning the AFC North, suggesting that their only path to the playoffs is to win the division.
The first-place Steelers currently hold a 75.2% chance to win the AFC North, while the Bengals have only a 2.7% chance. The Browns have already been eliminated from playoff contention.
With rematches against the Bengals and Steelers coming up, Baltimore can still turn the tide, but it will likely need to win out.

The Ravens have the 10th-hardest remaining schedule this season, according to PFSN’s Strength of Schedule metric. Outside of the two AFC North foes, Baltimore also faces two Super Bowl contenders in the Patriots and Packers. Every game the rest of the way is a must-win. The final four-game stretch will reveal a great deal about the resolve of this team, regardless of whether the Ravens make the playoffs.
