Week 15 of the NFL season brings some extremely interesting storylines into play, both when it comes to teams competing for playoff spots and for the teams on the opposite end of the standings. Every season, the tank for the top pick in the next year’s NFL Draft is always a fun time to watch play out, and this 2025 season is going to be one that comes right down to the deadline. The bottom eight teams in the league are all within a game of each other, either sitting at 2-11 or 3-10, so this is gonna get close.

With that in mind, here is every game that could impact the New Orleans Saints‘ draft selection in Week 15, and which teams are involved in doing so:

This is an important one to watch right off the rip, as the Browns currently are tied with the Saints at 3-10, and have also lost their last two games, so they have more negative momentum than New Orleans. Chicago has been competitive all season long, and should, on paper, win this one, but it remains vital to the draft order regardless.

Surprisingly enough, the Baltimore Ravens are bad enough to nearly be in the conversation here, but they still have a few more games to go before that really is part of the discussion. However, the Bengals sit at 4-9, and with a loss here and a Saints win, the two would end up tied in the order. It should be a pretty hard-fought matchup with both Joe Burrow and Lamar Jackson back, but ultimately, both teams have some immense weaknesses as well.

The first and only matchup of Week 15 where both teams are involved in the proceedings that are the draft order. The New York Giants currently sit at the top (or bottom technically) via tiebreaker at 2-11, meaning as of now, they would have the No. 1 pick. However, the Commanders are also in on things, currently sitting at 3-10, so a loss from either side is not really productive for the Saints, but a guaranteed win for one does help.

This should be a pretty definitive loss for the Raiders, but with Philadelphia losing its last three games, it could be more interesting than one would anticipate. Las Vegas is one of the three teams tied at 2-11 ahead of the Saints, so whatever the result ends up being here will be important to the standings.

After their Week 13 win, the Jets moved back from competing for the No. 1 pick and are now tied in the same group as the Saints. With a strength of schedule that is currently one of the higher ones in that standoff, they will be considered a less likely threat until some things shift around and teams rise.

The final of the 3-10 teams is the Arizona Cardinals, who have rapidly fallen off a cliff with five straight losses, taking them from 3-5 to 3-10. They have the worst tiebreaker of the current 3-10 teams, so there is that, but their ability to consistently lose games is going to make them hard to compete with for a top pick.

San Francisco 49ers (9-4) vs. Tennessee Titans (2-11)

Finally, we have the team that was sitting with only one win up until last week, the Tennessee Titans. Now in the three-team logjam for pick No. 1, they have fallen to No. 3 for the moment due to strength of schedule. With that said, who knows how they end up wrapping up their 2025 campaign?
