Packers vs. Broncos NFL: The matchup
The Broncos are listed as 2.5-point underdogs on their home field as they look to stretch their win streak to 11 games. Denver is backed by one of the NFL’s top defenses with a unit giving up the third-fewest yards (282.0 ypg), second-fewest rushing yards (89.0 ypg) and fourth-fewest points (18.1 ppg) in the NFL. The Broncos pressure front also leads the NFL in sacks (55) by a wide margin and owns 22 more sacks than Micah Parsons and the Packers. Bo Nix and the Broncos offense has played its part by delivering timely drives to win games.
The Packers enter Week 13 sitting atop the NFC North with their 9-3-1 overall record and on a run of four straight wins to improve their position within the NFC and their own division. Green Bay’s two most recent wins over the Chicago Bears (28-21) and Detroit Lions (31-24) were especially critical in the team’s playoff pursuit, but four more big game are still to come for a Green Bay team with perhaps the fewest glaring weaknesses of any playoff hopeful. Three of the Pack’s four final games are on the road: Week 15 at Denver, Week 16 at Chicago, Week 17 vs. Baltimore and Week 18 at Minnesota.
