A couple of teams that will forever be linked thanks to a trade swapping quarterbacks will meet up on Sunday, Dec. 14 in a game with massive playoff consequences as the Los Angeles Rams host the Detroit Lions at SoFi Stadium in Inglewood, Calif.

If Jared Goff can have a big game against his former team, he could also help the Lions get a potentially useful tiebreaker should Los Angeles fall into the Wild Card picture. The squad has been off since Thursday, when it defeated the Dallas Cowboys, 44-30. Jahmyr Gibbs had three rushing touchdowns while Goff threw for 309 yards and a score.
