Josh Allen is having quite a year this 2025. In Week 15 on Sunday, he propelled the Buffalo Bills to a 35-31 victory over the AFC top seeds New England Patriots, helping the team improve to 10-4 on the season.

The Bills QB recorded 193 passing yards and three touchdowns without throwing an interception, while also rushing for 48 yards on 11 carries. He outshined MVP favorite Drake Maye, who failed to throw for a touchdown but recorded two rushing scores.

Maye clearly struggled to get the New England passing game going, as evidenced by his 155 yards on 14-of-23 passing attempts.

The Bills remain second in the AFC East, but they have a legitimate chance to surpass the Patriots for the top seed in the division and potentially compete for the No. 1 spot in the conference.

Of course, that’s not the only good news for Allen. As fans already know, the Bills star and his wife, Hailee Steinfeld, recently announced that they are expecting their first child together. The two got married last May after nearly two years of dating.

After the Patriots game, Allen was asked about Steinfeld’s pregnancy and whether or not knowing that he’ll be a dad soon motivated him to perform better on Sunday. The reigning NFL MVP admitted he’s not sure that’s the case, but he did have high praise for his wife and how impactful she has been for him.

In fact, Allen went as far as to say that Steinfeld is his “favorite teammate.”

“Obviously very happy, very blessed,” Allen said when discussing the Bills’ win and his life-changing update during his postgame interview. “You know, I love my team, I love my wife, she’s my favorite teammate.”

Regardless of whether becoming a father gives Allen a boost, it’s clear that he has enough motivation with Steinfeld by her side.

Allen and the Bills return to action in Week 16 against the Cleveland Browns before finishing the campaign against the Philadelphia Eagles and New York Jets.
