IOWA CITY, Iowa (KCRG) – Two of Iowa’s players were recognized as AP First-Team All-Americans Monday.
Both Logan Jones, a graduate center, and senior offensive guard Beau Stephens, were in the First-Team Offense picks.
Jones and Stephens both started all 12 games this season for the Hawkeyes’ offensive line.
Jones was also named a Walter Camp First Team All-American. He was awarded the Rimington Trophy, given to college football’s most outstanding center, at ESPN’s College Football Awards Show Friday.
Iowa has had at least one first-team player seven straight years and in 10 of the last 12. The team is one of three Big 12 in this year’s list.
Players are chosen in 5 All-American teams to determine consensus All-Americans.

Iowa will face Venderbilt at the December 31 ReliaQuest Bowl at the Raymond James Stadium in Tampa, Florida.
