Texas junior wide receiver DeAndre Moore will not be returning to the Forty Acres next fall, sources tell Inside Texas. Moore has the option of declaring for the NFL Draft or playing one more season in college. IT believes it’s more likely he’ll declare for the draft but we’ll let him share his intentions on his timeline.
The 6-foot-0, 192-pound Anaheim (Calif.) St. John Bosco native had a productive career at Texas. The third-year wide receiver has played in 36Â games, accumulating 988 yards on 77 receptions. Eleven of those receptions went for touchdowns.
In high school, he was an All-American and All-League honoree, selected to participate in the 2023 All-American Bowl, chosen to the roster of the 2023 Polynesian Bowl, and a member of a St. John Bosco team that was named national champions by MaxPreps in 2022.
He was rated No. 114 nationally, No. 18 among wide receivers and No. 11 overall in the state of California by Rivals and ranked No. 196 nationally, No. 30 among wide receivers and No. 11 overall in the state of California by On3.
He was selected to the 2022 Preseason MaxPreps California All-State Team, and attended Los Alamitos High School his junior year before moving to St John Bosco.
