The Seattle Seahawks have disclosed the injury status of left tackle Charles Cross.

Has a problem emerged for the Seahawks’ offense?

Head coach Mike Macdonald said during his weekly Monday afternoon press conference that Cross is dealing with a hamstring injury suffered late in Sunday’s 18-16 win over the Indiapolis Colts.

“It’s a hamstring. We’re just trying to gather the info right now, exhausting all options to see how fast we can get him back,” Macdonald said.

The Seahawks are in a tough spot if they’re hoping that Cross can be healthy enough to start in their next game, because they have a short week before a monumental Thursday Night Football meeting with the Los Angeles Rams. The Seahawks and Rams are both 11-3 and tied for the lead in both the NFC West and the NFC as a whole.

Cross was helped off of the field after his legs split awkwardly while he was blocking on the Seahawks’ game-winning field goal by kicker Jason Myers against the Colts.

A first-round NFL Draft pick out of Mississippi State in 2022, Cross has played 62 (all starts) of the 65 regular season Seahawks games over the past four years. Retaining him will be a key priority for the Seahawks as he is set to be a free agent after this season.

More Seahawks injury updates

• There’s good news at the other tackle spot for the Seahawks. Macdonald said there is no concern about the status of right tackle Abraham Lucas, who missed time in the first half of Sunday’s game with a shoulder injury.

“Abe is all good to my knowledge,” Macdonald said.

• Rookie wide receiver Tory Horton has “hurdles” to clear if he’s going to return this season, Macdonald said.

“We’ll see about Tory. He’s taking it as he improves right now. He’s got some hurdles we’ll wait to see him get over those hurdles. But if he gets over them, then we can get him back.”

Horton was placed on injured reserve on Nov. 22 with a shin injury. He has already missed four games, which is the required minimum amount before a player is eligible to return from IR.

A fifth-round pick out of Colorado State, Horton has 161 yards and five touchdowns on 13 catches in eight games this season. He also has served as a punt returner for Seattle.

The Seahawks take on the Rams at Lumen Field at 5:15 p.m. Thursday, with Seattle Sports radio coverage beginning at 2 p.m. with the pregame show.
