Some NFL teams are in a very good position to make the NFL playoffs entering NFL Week 16, but others have work to do with three weeks left in the NFL regular season.

And some have a lot of work to do.

The Indianapolis Colts (8-6), Baltimore Ravens (7-7), Detroit Lions (8-6), Carolina Panthers (7-7) and Dallas Cowboys (6-7-1) are among those with the most difficult paths to the NFL postseason, with those five teams currently not eliminated from postseason contention, but also currently not in position for the playoffs.
