San Francisco 49ers quarterback Brock Purdy has been a stud since taking over as the team’s starter after Jimmy Garoppolo went down with an injury in 2022.
Entering Sunday’s game against the Tennessee Titans at Levi’s Stadium, Purdy had thrown for 10,665 yards in his career. In the contest, he threw for 295 yards, bringing him to 10,960 yards in his four seasons.
That performance moved Purdy up to No. 9 on the 49ers‘ list of all-time passing leader, surpassing Frankie Albert, who passed for 10,795 in his seven years with San Francisco from 1946-52. Albert, who was a three-time All-Pro and won AAFC MVP in his third season, went on to coach the 49ers from 1956-58.
With only three games left in the season, Purdy likely won’t move up any further on this list in 2025. However, he could continue to climb San Francisco’s list for passing touchdowns.
