The Miami Dolphins didn’t hold a practice Wednesday, just two days removed from their Monday night loss to the Pittsburgh Steelers. But in an estimation of their players’ availabilities, the Dolphins said that more than a quarter of the roster is injured.
Just four of the 15 players on injury report would’ve been unavailable altogether if a practice was held, according to the Dolphins. That includes safety Minkah Fitzpatrick and linebacker Jordyn Brooks, who both exited late in the team’s loss to the Pittsburgh Steelers.
Also listed on the report was kicker Jason Sanders, who rejoined the team in practice for the first time since landing on injured reserve near the end of August. He can be moved from the IR to the active roster at any time in the next 21 days.
