The LA Rams (11-3) and Seattle Seahawks (11-3) are set to square off Thursday night in arguably the biggest game of the season thus far. The battle for first place in the NFC West and the No. 1 seed kicks off at Lumen Field in Seattle, Washington, at 8:15 p.m. ET (Prime Video). Let’s analyze BetMGM Sportsbook’s NFL odds around the Rams vs. Seahawks odds and make our expert NFL picks and predictions for the best bets.

The Rams lost a stunner to the Carolina Panthers 31-28 in Week 13, but have bounced back nicely with 2 straight wins over the Arizona Cardinals (45-17) and Detroit Lions (41-34). They’re leading the NFC West and currently hold the No. 1 seed in the conference, but the Seahawks, Chicago Bears and San Francisco 49ers are hot on their heels. With 3 weeks to go, the Rams rank second in points for, yards gained and third in points allowed this season.

The Seahawks have been equally impressive, winning their last 4 games since losing 21-19 to the Rams in Week 11. Most recently, they beat the Indianapolis Colts 18-16, despite scoring zero touchdowns in the game. They now have the fifth-highest-scoring offense (28.9 points per game) and second-ranked defense in points allowed (17.3 per game).

The Rams won the first meeting and if this game were played on a neutral field or at home, they would be favored once again. And they should be. Their offense is soaring right now, scoring 45 and 41 points in their last 2 games, only committing 1 turnover in the last 2 weeks after giving it away 3 times against the Panthers.

It’s far easier to trust QB Matthew Stafford and the Rams offense than it is QB Sam Darnold, who has zero TD passes in 3 of his last 5 games. BET RAMS (-105) to win outright on the road.

The 1.5-point spread isn’t worth betting if you’re already taking the moneyline, but could be bet instead for a little better value. There are alternate lines that warrant consideration. You can get the RAMS -6.5 (+240), which isn’t an unreasaonable bet considering only 2 of their 11 wins this season have been by fewer than 7 points. So if you think the Rams are going to win outright, you should also consider taking them to win by a touchdown – or even -9 (+375) to win by double-digits.

The Rams rarely win close games and given the poor performance of Seattle’s offense against the Colts, Los Angeles could really pour it on if Darnold struggles again.

The first meeting between these teams ended with the Rams winning 21-19. That was indoors at SoFi Stadium, too. Now, they’ll be playing in some adverse conditions in Seattle, but this game should be higher-scoring now that each coaching staff can make adjustments based on their first matchup.

The Rams have scored an average of 43 points per game the last 2 weeks after putting up 28 against the Panthers in Week 13, consistently finding the end zone. BET OVER 42 (-110).
