The Indianapolis Colts (8-6) host the San Francisco 49ers (10-4) in on “Monday Night Football” in NFL Week 16 action, and both teams are watching the progress of key receivers.

The Colts’ Alec Pierce (Achilles) was a limited participant in Thursday’s practice. The Niners’ Ricky Pearsall (ankle, knee) did not practice.

The Colts are watching the progress of defensive tackle DeForest Buckner (neck), left tackle Bernard Raimann (elbow) and cornerback Sauce Gardner (calf). Quarterback Anthony Richardson (eye) practiced for the first time in weeks, as did safety Daniel Scott (knee).

Other Niners starters to be watched include guard Spencer Burford, defensive end Sam Okuayinonu, linebacker Tatum Bethune and cornerback Renardo Green.
