The Tennessee Titans returned on Thursday to continue their preparations for their Week 16 battle with the Kansas City Chiefs and saw a few players return to action.
Jeffery Simmons and Chig Okonkwo joined Dan Moore Jr. by practicing fully, while the majority of the team worked at least in a limited capacity. The same can’t be said about Cedric Gray (concussion) or Amani Hooker (illness), who could not practice for a second consecutive day.
This development likely impacts Gray more than Hooker; the second-year linebacker must clear concussion protocol, and may not have time to meet those requirements. If he can’t go, James Williams will likely start next to Cody Barton, and Tennessee could decide to give veteran Kyzir White a helmet for this matchup.
Van Jefferson (back) and Kevin Zeitler (groin), who sat out practice on Wednesday due to their injuries, both returned to the field in a limited capacity.
Jalyn Armour-Davis, Gunnar Helm, Femi Oladejo, Bryce Oliver, and Ali Gaye were limited.
