The Philadelphia Eagles had little time to celebrate its Week 15 home shutout victory over the Las Vegas Raiders, as coach Nick Sirianni, quarterback Jalen Hurts and the rest of the Birds travel down I-96 on a short week to play divisional rival Washington Commanders on Saturday.
Eagles-Commanders is the first game of the National Football League’s Saturday doubleheader, followed by the Chicago Bears–Green Bay Packers nightcap.

The 4-10 Commanders announced star quarterback Jayden Daniels will sit out the rest of the regular season, meaning the Eagles will face Daniel’s backup (and former Eagles backup quarterback) Marcus Mariota on Saturday.

While the Commanders are playing out the string of a forgettable season, the Eagles will win the NFC East and a secure a playoff spot with a victory on Saturday.
Going in to Saturday’s Week 16 Commanders game, the Eagles had greater than 99% chance of reaching the playoffs, according to the NFL’s latest playoff seeding scenario.
However, even if the Eagles lose on Saturday, those odds would drop only to 97%.

Teams battling for the NFC North title will clash In the NFL’s Saturday primetime matchup when the Chicago Bears host the Green Bay Packers.
FOX will broadcast Bears-Packers, which kicks off at 8:20 p.m. This game will also livestream on Fubu and NFL+.
The Bears and Packers a locked in a tight divisional race, and Saturday’s game carries significant NFC playoff seeding ramifications.
If the Bears lose, their odds of securing a playoff spot drop to 62%,but jump to 95% with a victory on Saturday.
Likewise, if the Packers lose, their odds would drop to 79%, but a victory over the Bears on Saturday would increase Green Bay’s playoff odds to greater than 99%.
