On weekday mornings, Nevada Sports Net will recap three big headlines of the day in its Morning Download. Read below for today’s topics.

1. Kyle Van Noy to donate $5,000 to McQueen after winning NFL honor

Baltimore Ravens linebacker Kyle Van Noy will donate $5,000 to his alma mater, McQueen High School, after winning Week 15’s “Way To Play Award.” The award was “created to recognize and reward players who lead by example by using proper playing technique.” Van Noy had Week 15’s most memorable play as he faked a blitz, dropped into coverage and intercepted Cincinnati’s Joe Burrow near the end zone. After running 11 yards, Van Noy handed the ball to teammate Alohi Gilman, who returned it 84 more yards for a 95-yard pick-six that put Baltimore up 24-0 in the Ravens’ first shutout since 2018. The weekly “Way To Play Award” winner gets a $5,000 equipment grant for a youth or high school program of the player’s choice, which Van Noy will donate to McQueen where he graduated in 2009 after leading the Lancers to a state championship as a senior.

2. Wolf Pack volleyball’s Kinsley Singleton transferring to Oklahoma

Nevada volleyball player Kinsley Singleton announced Thursday she is transferring to Oklahoma, an SEC school that went 16-11 overall and 7-8 in league play last season. Singleton has two years of eligibility remaining after playing for Nevada in 2024 and 2025. The libero from Phoenix led Nevada in digs (361) and aces (28) in 2025. She was one of three key players from Nevada to enter the transfer portal along with outside hitter Haylee Brown and setter Audrey Jensen. The Wolf Pack is currently sans a head coach after Shannon Wyckoff-McNeal stepped down last week two seasons into her five-year contract with Nevada.
