EAGAN, Minn. — The Vikings (6-8) on Friday ruled out defensive lineman Javon Hargrave (thigh) for Sunday’s Week 16 game at the New York Giants (2-12).
Head Coach Kevin O’Connell also announced tackle Christian Darrisaw (knee) will be placed on season-ending Injured Reserve.
Minnesota listed tackle Brian O’Neill (heel) as questionable for the noon (CT) kickoff.
O’Connell said the Vikings will start Justin Skule in place of Darrisaw at left tackle. If O’Neill is unable to play, the Vikings will go with Blake Brandel at right tackle.
Additionally, the Vikings listed running back Ty Chandler (knee) and tight end Gavin Bartholomew (back) as questionable.
Chandler has been on Injured Reserve since Week 2. His practice window opened in Week 14.
Bartholomew returned to practice this week but has been on Injured Reserve/Physically Unable to Perform list all season.
