The Las Vegas Raiders have long been eliminated from contention for a spot in the NFL playoffs, but they still have business to take care of, with three more games left on their 2025 schedule. That includes this coming Saturday’s game against the Houston Texans at NRG Stadium in Houston.
The Raiders only have two wins against 12 losses and entered Week 16 of the season on an eight-game losing streak. Good news is hard to come by for Las Vegas these days, but one encouraging update for the team is the return of star pass rusher Maxx Crosby to a full practice designation.

On Friday, the Raiders released their latest injury report, and it shows Crosby being a full participant in the team’s final practice before the showdown against the Raiders.
Previously, Crosby missed Wednesday’s practice because of a knee issue. He practiced on Thursday, but on a limited basis.

The 28-year-old Crosby is among the bright spots on an otherwise terrible Las Vegas 2025 campaign. So far this season, the four-time Pro Bowler has 10.0 sacks, an interception, six passes defended and two forced fumbles to go along with 67 combined tackles through 14 games.

The Raiders are coming off a brutal 31-0 beatdown at the hands of the Philadelphia Eagles in Week 15, and they are running out of chances to score their first win since defeating the Tennessee Titans at home way back in Week 6.
After this date with Houston, Crosby and the Raiders will face off against the New York Giants and the Kansas City Chiefs in Week 17 and Week 18, respectively, both at NRG Stadium.
