The NFL will formally announce the 2025 regular season schedule in a live show on NFL Network at 7 p.m. CT Wednesday evening, but rumors and reports are already flying around about the New Orleans Saints‘ slate. We’re tracking the latest buzz to see when and where the Saints will be playing in 2025. The team is in a new place after last year’s 5-12 finish, with first-year head coach Kellen Moore at the helm and rookie quarterback Tyler Shough in the driver’s seat to start in September. In addition to their usual NFC South rivals, the Saints will be playing against opponents from the NFC West and AFC East, as well as the New York Giants, Chicago Bears, and Tennessee Titans.

Kickoff time: TBD

Location: Caesars Superdome (New Orleans, La.)

The Saints will start at home for the seventh time in the last eight years, per NewOrleans.Football’s Nick Underhill, and they’re riding a win streak in Week 1 that goes back to 2019. It’ll be Kyler Murray and the Arizona Cardinals coming off an 8-9 finish in the crowded NFC West and looking to make some noise early this season. The Saints won the last matchup in New Orleans handily (beating the Cardinals 31-9 back in 2019) but Arizona narrowly holds the all-time series lead at 16-15, at least in the regular season. The Saints’ statement win in the 2009 divisional round helped send them to Super Bowl XLIV, and it ties them up at 16-16. Read more here.

Week 2

Kickoff time: TBD

Kickoff time: TBD

Location: Lumen Field (Seattle, Was.)

The Saints will fly out to the Pacific Northwest for a Week 3 game in Seattle, per Locked on Seahawks host Corbin Smith. New Orleans does have a 10-8 lead over the Seahawks in the series history (dating back to 1976), and they’ve won each of their last four games since 2016, including two matchups in Seattle. But these are two very different teams from the squads that last met in 2022. The Seahawks have Sam Darnold at quarterback with Klint Kubiak on the headset and a host of former Saints coaches and players on the sideline.

Week 5 vs. New York Giants

Kickoff time: TBD

Location: Caesars Superdome (New Orleans, La.)

Per North Jersey/USA TODAY’s Art Stapleton, the Giants will be coming to New Orleans for an early-season matchup after last visiting in 2023; that was a rare blowout win for the Saints with Tommy DeVito starting at QB for Big Blue. It was also a way for the Saints to return the favor after Daniel Jones and Saquon Barkley powered the Giants to an upset win in overtime in New Orleans back in 2021. The Giants have a one-game advantage over the Saints in the 33-game series history, so a win for New Orleans would tie it up at 17-17. Read more here.

In Week 13 the Saints will be making their first trip to Miami since 2009, per FinsXtra. The Dolphins will be coming off their bye week (and an extended trip to Madrid, Spain for their Week 11 game with the Washington Commanders) prior to this matchup so the Saints will be facing an opponent who has enjoyed extra rest. Last time they played in South Florida the Saints rallied for a 46-34 win on the road in one of the signature victories of the Super Bowl XLIV campaign. But the Dolphins have a narrow 7-6 lead against them, all-time, including a 20-3 victory over the Ian Book-led team fighting shorthanded due to a COVID-19 outbreak back in 2021.
