Netflix is leveling up Christmas Day entertainment with a major music and sports crossover: Snoop Dogg will headline the halftime show during the NFL Christmas Gameday broadcast on December 25, 2025.
The legendary rapper will perform “Snoop’s Holiday Halftime Party” live during the Detroit Lions vs. Minnesota Vikings game, streaming globally on Netflix.

Snoop Dogg , a hip-hop icon and longtime football fan, is set to bring his signature style, holiday vibes, and chart-topping songs to the halftime stage at U.S. Bank Stadium in Minneapolis.
The performance will air live on Netflix as part of the streamer’s second annual NFL Christmas Gameday event, which also includes other marquee matchups and live pregame coverage.
Netflix’s holiday game lineup is part of the platform’s expansion into live sports entertainment, blending cultural moments with football on one of the year’s most watched sports holidays.
In Netflix’s announcement, Snoop Dogg embraced the festive occasion with his classic laid-back energy. “NFL, Netflix, and your uncle Snoop on Christmas Day? We’re servin’ up music, love and good vibes for the whole world to enjoy,” he said, promising a show that’s “holiday magic Santa can’t fit in a bag.”
Netflix’s Chief Content Officer also weighed in, calling the collaboration “the ultimate gift” for subscribers and highlighting the unique blend of live sports and entertainment the streamer is delivering this season.
This marks a growing trend: streaming platforms aren’t just places for shows and movies, they’re now destination hubs for live events and cultural moments.
Last year’s Netflix Christmas Gameday halftime show was headlined by Beyoncé for a ‘Beyoncé Bowl’ performance that drew wide attention.
Snoop’s involvement adds a fresh twist for fans of football, hip-hop, and holiday entertainment alike, giving viewers around the world something to look forward to beyond the gridiron action.
