The Bills are set to face the 3-11 Cleveland Browns this weekend, and Josh Allen is due for another monster game. After his second-half heroics against the Patriots led Buffalo to a potentially AFC East-saving win, Allen will be looking to shine again against a weak opponent.

The Browns’ defense will give Allen their best shot. Cleveland has a solid pass rush, led by Myles Garrett, arguably the best defensive player in the league. Garrett has 21.5 sacks and is one sack away from tying the NFL sack record. He’ll be coming for Allen, as he looks to tie and break the all-time record. He’ll likely either break the record by sacking MVP Josh Allen or four-time MVP Aaron Rodgers next week.

Garrett also has 35 quarterback hits, the most in his career, which will present a challenge to Allen. Allen will need to be on the lookout for Garrett every time he drops back to pass.

The Browns also have a good secondary. They are allowing just 169 passing yards per game, the fewest in the league. Part of the credit there goes to the pass rush, whose 47 sacks are the third most in the league, and force opposing quarterbacks to make bad decisions with the football. Part of it goes to the Browns defensive backs, who have allowed just 22 touchdowns in 14 games (less than 1.5 per game) while snagging 10 interceptions.

Opposing quarterbacks have a very tough time against the Browns, and often fall victim to the sack. But Josh Allen is not the average opposing quarterback. He’s the reigning NFL MVP, coming off the biggest win of the season and going for his first Super Bowl.

This weekend might not be the best game of Allen’s career, but Allen is going to play well. He might not throw for a lot of yards, but Allen will be efficient and will do what he needs to do to put up points.

Predicting Josh Allen’s Week 16 stats vs. Browns

Allen will complete 15 of 25 pass attempts for 190 yards and two touchdowns. He’ll do a good job avoiding the pressure, only being sacked twice. He’ll also run for 30 yards and a touchdown on the Brown, as the Bills cruise to a 34-13 win over a Cleveland team that is ready for the offseason to begin.
