4. Norman-Lott started his career at Arizona State before transferring to Tennessee.
A native of California, Norman-Lott spent the first three seasons of his career at Arizona State from 2020 through 2022. He appeared in 21 games during that time, logging four sacks, before transferring to Tennessee ahead of the 2023 campaign.
He went on to tally 16 pressures (and 5.5 sacks) on 149 pass-rush snaps during his first season for the Volunteers, recording a pass-rush win percentage of 11.9% (which led all Tennessee defensive tackles). Norman-Lott then followed that up with an FBS-leading win percentage at his position (18.9%) the following season.
5. He seemed pretty excited to land in Kansas City.
“I’m incredibly blessed to be a part of the Chiefs Kingdom,” Norman-Lott told reporters on Friday night. “I’m ready to get after it, hunt some quarterbacks down and make some plays in the backfield.”
Norman-Lott went on to describe his play-style as “relentless” and “unforgiving” while emphasizing that he’s excited to accept whatever role the coaches ask of him.
He also added that he’s “ready to go get a ring,” and now a member of one of the best defenses in the NFL, Norman-Lott will have an opportunity to help the Chiefs get back to the Super Bowl in 2025.
